American Sterling Silver “Z L” Victorian Thimble Carrying Case
Imagine being able to never lose your precious thimble because you’re wearing it in the most beautiful, absolutely perfect, egg shaped, sterling silver carrying case, around your neck. Hollow form constructed, hand engraved, silver egg shaped thimble holder. Snaps closed tightly, and is in exquisite, gently used, condition. Very minor dents, which is not unusual for the age and practical original use of a special piece such as this one. She would make a wonderful keepsake locket, when worn on a chain. Made in America circa 1861.
