Vintage (Deliberate) Mismatch 1980’s Extra Long Sterling Silver Geometric Earrings
Remember the 80’s? Well, I sure do. Mismatched earrings were such a thing and the bigger the better, for any and all, young and aspiring, Valley Girl types. Even though I didn’t grow up in the Valley, this trend was one I, like for sure, and oh my god, totally embraced, and these are from my personal collection. Elongated hollow form constructed dome post pointed diamond dagger in one ear, and a hand fabricated and hinged, square, hollow tube constuction rectangle, in the other. What could be more fun?
Sterling Silver deliberately mismatched earrings. Ball post earring hallmarked NF and 925, for sterling silver. Rectangular earring tested but unmarked.
Rectangle measures 2 3/4” x 1 1/4” Drop earring measures 3 1/4” x 1/4” at widest point. Ball post is 8 mm
