Mid-Century 1950's Esther Lewittes Sterling Silver and Pearl Horsehoe Fob or Necklace Connector
Mid-Century 1950's Esther Lewittes Sterling Silver and Pearl Horsehoe Fob or Necklace Connector
This absolutely stunning, period perfect piece, is currently one of my very favorite finds. With a beautifully aged original patina, untouched for posterity, this horseshoe and curved rounded triangle and cultured pearl button fob and flattened curb chain is sublime. Can be used as a decorative vest or pocket fob, a key chain, or a necklace chain connector/extender. In excellent vintage condition.
Esther Lewittes was a renowned mid-century modernist jeweler. She was a graduate of New York’s Columbia University, apprenticed for Cartier and later had her own jewelry gallery in Los Angeles, California. You can read more about her here.
