Early 1950’s Doris Smith Chamberlain Corpus Artisans Sterling Silver Mexican Earrings
Opened in 1945 by the American artist and craftswoman, Doris Smith Chamberlain, her Mexico City studio and shop was known for crafting fine silver pieces of her original designs. Her floral and Aztec motifs were crafted by some of the city’s best silversmiths of the day. This playful hand fabricated pair of earrings, dated 1950, are a beautiful example of her work. In excellent vintage condition with original patina, these can easily be converted to posts or French wires by myself or your local jeweler. Please see additional details below.
