Happy (early) winter solstice to you! Rather than dwelling on the misguided information regarding the end of the world at midnight tonight, I thought I would re-post our latest cocktail recipe, in honor of the misinformed.
I am pretty certain that I will still be here come Christmas and I am hoping that you will be too.
The shortest day of the year is tomorrow, why not take the time to celebrate winter and squeeze in a twofer, Mayan style. Cheers!Mayan Sidecar Cocktail (For two) Reposado Tequila Xtabentun honey liqueur Prickly pear syrup (If unavailable, substitute with agave nectar) Meyer Lemon Juice (and a twist for garnish) Granulated cane sugar Place 4 large ice cubes in a cocktail shaker and add 5 oz. Reposado, 1/2 oz. of Xtabentun, 1 tsp. prickly pear syrup and 1 oz. of freshly squeezed Meyer lemon juice. Shake and strain into prepared sugar rimmed martini glasses, garnish with the twist and enjoy!
